Edvard and his wife, Tove were a highly successful and respected design duo from Denmark, operating from the 1930s to the 1960s. Their signature style featured simple clean lines, high quality materials that often utilised contrasting wood substrates and painted panels displayed in this prime example of modernist danish design.
The rosewood frame and veneer top conceals a handy, pull out, tray with Matt black lacquer coating that clearly displays their hall marks. In immaculate condition, this piece stands a little taller than your typical table and gives a great sense of scale. A beautiful example of mid century design history.
